DOUBLE GOOD NEWS FOR LOCAL ARMED SERVICE FAMILIES

At a meeting with Wychavon councillors on Friday, Mid Worcestershire MP Peter Luff congratulated the council on its plans to provide new homes in the county for former members of the armed forces and for injured servicemen. Earlier in the week he had also welcomed news of increased funding for armed services accommodation in the Budget.

RAIL PEACE FOR RESIDENTS OF BREDICOT

Residents of Bredicot will soon be able to sleep soundly again as their MP, Peter Luff and Councillor Rob Adams have secured from Network Rail the promise of the removal of the recently installed southbound whistle board at the Bredicot footpath crossing.  

MP TO VISIT DROITWICH GAS WORKS

Droitwich MP Peter Luff will visit the site of the ongoing gas main works on Worcester Road, Droitwich this Friday (10th) to check on progress and to ensure the needs of local businesses are being properly catered for.  

His intervention comes after complaints from three retailers that their trade was being badly affected and that National Grid had not told them what was happening or how to get compensation.
